GENERAL CPPCA ACTIVITIES DISCLAIMER
The Canadian Pakistani Pakhtoon Community Association (CPPCA) is a voluntary, non-profit community organization that provides and coordinates community, cultural, social, recreational, educational, charitable, and other activities for the benefit and enjoyment of its members, volunteers, participants, and the broader community.
Participation in any CPPCA activity, event, program, gathering, trip, tournament, meeting, or other initiative is voluntary. CPPCA and its organizers, directors, administrators, volunteers, coordinators, and representatives make reasonable efforts to organize activities in a safe and responsible manner; however, CPPCA does not provide personal accident insurance, medical care, or individual professional services to participants unless expressly stated otherwise.
Each participant is responsible for determining whether they are physically, medically, and otherwise able to participate in an activity and is responsible for taking reasonable precautions appropriate to their own circumstances, abilities, and needs. Participants are also responsible for their personal belongings and for their own conduct while participating in CPPCA activities.
Participants acknowledge that community activities may involve inherent or unforeseen risks, depending on the nature and location of the activity. Such risks may include, without limitation, personal injury, illness, accidents, slips and falls, property loss or damage, transportation-related risks, or other risks associated with participation.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, participants voluntarily assume the risks associated with their participation and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless CPPCA, its directors, officers, organizers, volunteers, coordinators, administrators, and representatives from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising from or relating to their participation in CPPCA activities, except where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including liability arising from negligence or willful misconduct where it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
CPPCA reserves the right to establish reasonable rules and conditions for individual activities and to modify, postpone, or cancel activities when circumstances warrant, including for safety, weather, facility, operational, or other reasons.
By registering for, attending, or participating in any CPPCA activity, each participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and voluntarily accepted this General Disclaimer and agree to comply with applicable CPPCA rules and reasonable instructions provided by organizers and volunteers.
This disclaimer is intended to apply generally to CPPCA activities and does not replace any additional terms, waivers, consent forms, or activity-specific requirements that may be applicable to a particular event or program.
