EDC - Election & Disciplinary Commission
1. The Board of Directors (BOD) shall constitute the Election and Disciplinary Commission (EDC) following the formation of a newly elected BOD. The Commission shall be established no earlier than three (3) months and no later than six (6) months after the formation of the new BOD.
2. The EDC shall consist of two members and a Chairperson, appointed by the BOD. The Commission shall perform the duties assigned to it under these Governing By laws, including the interpretation of the By-laws, conducting elections, and adjudicating disciplinary matters referred to it.
3. The term of each member of the commission shall be two years which may be renewed only for one more term i.e. Maximum 4 Consecutive Years. 4. The Board of Directors (BOD), in consultation with the members of the Election and Disciplinary Commission (EDC), shall develop detailed election processes and procedures and shall provide all necessary administrative, operational, and logistical support to enable the EDC to effectively discharge its duties, while respecting the independence of the Commission.
